41-year-old man found stabbed in Northeast Baltimore Friday morning

A 41-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Northeast Baltimore Friday morning, Baltimore police said.

A Northeast District officer on patrol was flagged down just after 2 a.m. by a person who directed the officer to the 1800 block of East 29th Street where Dameon Rone was suffering from stab wounds to the back.

Rone, of the 1800 block of E. 29th Street, was taken to an area hospital where he died. Rone was charged last week with more than 30 counts related to animal cruelty.

An attorney wasn't listed for Rone in online court records.

Police on Friday also identified three recent homicide victims.

Andre Washington, 29, was killed on Sunday in the 2300 block of Wilkens Avenue in Carrollton Ridge neighborhood in of Southwest Baltimore. Two others, a 62-year-old woman was found inside a pizza shop with a gunshot wound to the arm, and another 29-year-old man was shot in the leg.

Jawaun Pritchett, 25, of the 1200 block of Greenmount Street was also killed on Sunday in the 700 block of Mura Street in Johnston Square. A 23-year-old woman was also shot in the neck, and a 20-year-old woman suffered a graze wound in the arm.

Anthony Marshall, 34 was also found dead in an empty apartment Thursday in the 4400 block of Plainfield Avenue in Frankford.

The city has had 215 homicides this year, surpassing the 211 homicides reported in 2014. Baltimore surpassed that mark in August last year, when the city saw 344 homicides for the year.
