Baltimore police investigating two homicides overnight

Baltimore City police are investigating two separate homicides in the city reported overnight.

At 10:10 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a call about a man who was shot in the 1200 block of Braddish Ave. in West Baltimore. They found the victim lying in the intersection of Braddish Avenue and Ellicott Drive, suffering from gunshot wounds to the head. A medical crew responded and pronounced the man dead at 11:33 p.m.

At 12:01 a.m., officers from the Central District responded to a call in the 600 block of George St. and found a man who had been stabbed to death. The block is west of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and near the Upton community.

No further information about either victim was available early Friday. Investigations are continuing.
