A man died after suffering what appeared to be at least one gunshot wound to the chest in the Saint Josephs neighborhood Saturday afternoon, Baltimore police said.
Officers responded to the 3300 black of W. Caton Ave. at approximately 3:09 p.m. for reports of firearms discharging and a possible shooting, according to police. Upon arrival, they found the wounded adult male victim, who was transported to an area hospital where he died as a result of his injuries "despite all medical life saving efforts," police said.
Homicide detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to call 410-396-2100. The motive and suspect description are unknown at this time, police said.
