A 45-year-old man was shot to death in Southwest Baltimore, roughly 2 miles from protests over the in-custody death of Freddie Gray Tuesday night, police said.
Officers found the victim — who was not identified — shot in the head when they were called at about 8:37 p.m. to the 1500 block of N. Hilton St. in the Rosemont neighborhood, police said. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died, police said.
No suspect or motive information was released. Homicide detectives are responding and anyone with information may call 410-396-2100.
