One person was injured in a nighttime fire in Baltimore’s Barclay neighborhood, officials said Sunday.
Firefighters were called to a home near the intersection of East 21st Street and Greenmount Avenue for a fire shortly after midnight on Sunday, said Blair Skinner, a spokeswoman for the Baltimore Fire Department.
Firefighters who arrived on scene saw fire showing from the first and second floor of the building, she said.
It took until 1:51 a.m. to bring the fire under control, Skinner said.
One person who was in the home was taken to a local hospital for treatment. That person’s condition was not available Sunday morning.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the blaze and the extent of the damage.
