Man injured in Fulton Street shooting

A 36-year-old man was shot early Sunday while walking in the unit block of S. Fulton Street in West Baltimore, city police reported.

The man, who had been shot in the hip, took himself for treatment to Bon Secours Hospital, where he was interviewed by police, department spokesman Det. Kenneth Brown said. The incident occurred around 5:14 a.m.

The man, whom police did not identify, was treated and released. Police know of no suspects or motive for the shooting, Brown said.
