A man died after being shot on an elementary school playground in West Baltimore on Saturday evening, police said.
Police received a call for a shooting outside Westside Elementary in the 2200 block of North Fulton Avenue shortly after 6:30 p.m.
Darrell Berry, 36, suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at a hospital at 7:06 p.m.
He was shot on the playground near the basketball court, said Det. Angela Carter-Watson, a police spokeswoman.
