Three firefighters were injured during a house fire Wednesday evening in Southeast Baltimore, firefighters said.
One was in serious condition after falling from a ladder, officials said. Those injuries were not life-threatening.
Two more firefighters were hospitalized with minor injuries.
Crews were dispatched shortly after 7 p.m. to the house fire on the 1500 block of E. Baltimore St., the Washington Hill neighborhood.
Heavy fire was coming from the third story and roof of the home, firefighters said. Crews extinguished the fire in less than a half hour.
One family was displaced and the fire caused an estimated $140,000 in damage. The cause remained under investigation.
