A firefighter was injured during a one-alarm fire at a house in the 2400 block of Seamon Ave. in Cherry Hill on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Baltimore Fire Department.
"That individual sustained a minor injury and was transported to an area hospital," Public Information Officer Samuel Johnson wrote in an email.
Firefighters were dispatched at 12:27 p.m. where a "heavy fire" was coming from the second floor, according to Johnson. The fire was under control by 12:47 p.m.
Johnson said that he did not have information about whether the residents were home, but that there were no other injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
