A two-alarm fire burned a vacant, 10,000-square-foot warehouse in Southeast Baltimore Tuesday evening, according to the city's fire deparment.
No one was injured in the fire at the one-story former Pemco International enamel company building in the 5700 block of Eastern Ave., Fire Department spokesman Capt. Roman Clark said.
Firefighters were called at about 6:30 p.m. to the warehouse across from the Southeastern District police station and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, and they put out the blaze in about an hour.
The cause is under investigation, Clark said.
