McCabe's restaurant in Hampden caught fire early Thursday morning, a city fire department spokesman said.
Firefighters were called to the single alarm blaze at the restaurant at 3845 Falls Road at about 2:30 a.m. and placed the blaze under control by 3:10 a.m., said spokesman Capt. Roman Clark. No injuries were reported.
Clark said the cause remains under investigation.
As of 6:30 a.m., he said a piece of fire apparatus remained on Falls Road, blocking traffic. The Office of Emergency Management said Falls is closed between West 40th Street and Union Avenue.
