A man was killed and a woman was hospitalized after crashing their car into an electric pole in Cherry Hill overnight.
At about 3:46 a.m., police said the driver was headed west in the 1200 block of Cherry Hill Road when she lost control and crossed the double yellow line. The vehicle hit a Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. pole head-on.
The 50-year-old male passenger, who police have not publicly identified, died of his injuries. The 53-year-old female driver sustained abdominal injuries and remains hospitalized.
