A man was killed Wednesday morning when his Corvette collided with a Cadillac DeVille in Brooklyn, Baltimore police said.
The accident happened before 10 a.m. at the 3500 block of South Hanover St. The driver of the Corvette, a 65-year-old man, died at University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Police will not release his identity until his next of kin is notified. The driver of the Cadillac was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A preliminary investigation revealed the Corvette was traveling southbound in the northbound lane and collided with the Cadillac, police said.
Detectives are waiting for toxicology reports to determine if alcohol or narcotics were factors.
