Teen killed, man injured in SW Baltimore double shooting

A 17-year-old was killed and a 20-year-old was injured in a double shooting in Southwest Baltimore Tuesday night, police said.

The boy was identified Wednesday as Rayshawn Jones, of the 1700 block of Harford Road.

Police said they found Jonesthe boy shot multiple times outside Andy's Carry-Out & Grocery at the corner of McHenry and S. Calhoun streets in Mount Clare at about 9:10 p.m., and found the man shot in the stomach a block away. The 20-year-old was undergoing surgery Tuesday night, and his condition was not available, police said.

Police asked anyone who may have information to call homicide detectives at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.

A young girl dawdled in the doorway of the carry-out store as homicide detectives walked the block with flashlights Tuesday night. At least 10 evidence markers lined the curb and the steps of a home next to the store, where bullet casings had fallen.
