Baltimore police and city school police responded to a fight at Digital Harbor High School on Thursday, police officials said.

Lt. Jarron Jackson, spokesman for the Baltimore Police Department, said the department sent officers to supplement the school police's response to the fighting at the Federal Hill school.

No serious injuries were reported, officials said.

A fight broke out in a hallway about 1:30 p.m. and involved dozens of students, according to Karen Parks, spokeswoman for the city school system.

She said the altercation stemmed from a dispute that had started a day earlier.

The fight lasted about five minutes, and administrators broke it up. The altercation was caught on school surveillance cameras, which will help identify those involved, Parks said.

"All students involved will face disciplinary action," Parks said.

Students were dismissed from school at the end of the day without incident.
