A man riding a three-wheel motorcycle died Sunday after he drove off a ramp toward Baltimore-Washington Parkway and landed on the ground below. On Saturday, a 31-year-old man driving a dirt bike was killed when he was hit by a car.
The motorcycle rider, whose age and identity were not released Sunday, was traveling southbound on Interstate 95 on a ramp for the Baltimore-Washington Parkway when he was ejected from his trike and fell multiple feet to the ground in the area of Annapolis Road and Manokin Street.
Baltimore Fire personnel arrived at the scene around 1:10 p.m. and took the man to Shock Trauma, where he was pronounced dead. The cause of the accident is under investigation by Maryland Transportation Authority Police.
A 31-year-old man driving a dirt bike died Saturday night from “massive head injuries” related to a car accident, Baltimore Police said.
Officers arrived around 9:30 p.m. at the 2500 block of East Biddle Street, where they found the man lying on the ground. Emergency medical services took him to the Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Officers believe the man was struck by a 2017 Ford Fusion and knocked off the dirt bike, hitting his head. The fatal accident is being investigated by the BPD Crash Team.
