Body found floating in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor

A body was found floating in the Inner Harbor in downtown Baltimore Friday afternoon, police said.

Just before 3:45 p.m., police said a body was seen in the water between the National Aquarium and Pier 5. The remains were recovered and will be transported to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.

Police said investigators are working to identify the person. Further details were not immediately available.
