Bus riders hospitalized in Baltimore crash

A MTA bus collided with another vehicle Friday morning near Fairview and Granada avenues in West Baltimore, sending some riders to the hospital.

Paul Shepard, a spokesman for the Maryland Transit Administration, said no one on the bus suffered any life-threatening injuries. He did not immediately know how many people were taken to the hospital.

Brandon Churchill, 25, said he was driving along Fairview Avenue when the MTA bus hit his car as they both attempted to turn onto Granada Avenue. The front bumper of Churchill's 2011 Honda Accord, which he bought last month, had been knocked off.

Shepard said the accident remains under investigation.
