A vehicle and a school bus collided Thursday afternoon in Northeast Baltimore, injuring 14 children and 5 adults, fire officials said.
The children from Monarch Academy and two adults on the bus were being transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital with minor non-life-threatening injuries. The three adults in the vehicle are in serious condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Around 3:30 p.m., fire units responded to the 5300 block of Perring Parkway and found the passenger vehicle had collided with a school bus.
The cause of the accident will be investigated by police.
