An 11-year-old boy was stabbed by another boy in East Baltimore on Saturday, police say.
Police say officers were called at about 5:30 p.m. to North Highland Avenue and McElderry Street, in the Ellwood Park neighborhood.
Investigators believe the boys were involved in a fight when one stabbed the other, said Det. Jeremy Silbert, a police spokesman.
Silbert did not know the age of the suspect, but said he is a juvenile and was taken into custody.
Police did not release the victim's condition.
