The owner of a popular Canton running store was found dead by a customer Monday afternoon, police said.
Police said Miguel Ferrer, 56, hanged himself. He was found about 12:15 p.m. by the customer in the storage area of his store, Boston Street Running Co.
His death has led to the cancellation of the Baltimore Six Miler scheduled for Aug. 28, according to a Facebook post from the store, which holds the race.
"We greatly apologize for any inconvenience caused as the team at Boston Street Running struggles with this sudden loss," the post said.
