Body found Sunday afternoon in park in West Baltimore, police say

Homicide detectives are investigating after a body was found Sunday afternoon in Hanlon Park in West Baltimore, according to police.

Officers responded at about 2:19 p.m. Sunday to a report of a body found on the 2700 block of North Longwood Street in the Hanlon-Longwood neighborhood, Baltimore Police said in a news release.

Police found an unidentified man dead with “signs of trauma” to his body.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner responded to the scene and took the body to perform an autopsy. Police identified the man Wednesday as Sean Neal Malik Brown.
