Baltimore police on Monday recovered the body of a man from the Middle Branch of the Patapsco River where he was last seen two weeks prior.

Police said the body of Jerry Stamer, 32, was found at about 2 p.m. in the water near the 3100 block of Waterview Avenue in South Baltimore. Stamer was last seen on Dec. 15 at the Middle Branch Park marina, police said.

Police said there were no signs of trauma and an autopsy will be conducted.

The department put out an alert to a missing person investigation in Stamer's case Saturday evening, describing him as 6-feet tall, and 200 lbs., last seen in an orange jumpsuit with blue jeans and tan boots.
