Barricade in Northwest Baltimore ends after suspect surrenders

A barricade Tuesday afternoon ended peacefully when an armed man surrendered from a home in Northwest Baltimore, police said.

Shortly before 2 p.m., officers were called to the home in the Dolfield neighborhood. A 47-year-old man barricaded himself inside and refused to leave, police said.

Family members told officers there was a fight earlier in the home in the 3900 block of Fernhill Ave.

The man surrendered about 4:30 p.m. without incident.
