The Baltimore City Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire that spread among multiple cars Wednesday afternoon in East Baltimore.

Fire personnel responded to the 6700 block of Quad Ave., underneath the ramp from Moravia Road to southbound Interstate 95, at approximately 4:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a car fire, said Blair Adams, a spokeswoman for the department.

Adams said personnel found a vacant car lot at the Pulaski Industrial Area with multiple cars on fire.

“At this time, a bulk of the fire has been knocked,” Adams said. No injuries were reported.
