A 30-year-old man was charged Tuesday with robbing a North Baltimore convenience store twice last week, police said.
Police identified Brian Brown as the man who threatened employees of a 7-Eleven in the 600 block of W. 33rd St. in Wyman Park with a knife and demanded money both on Tuesday and Wednesday morning last week.
On Sept. 22, the suspect entered the store just after 6:15 a.m. and left with money and cigarettes, police said. The next morning at 5:45 a.m. he returned and took money from the store employee at knifepoint, they said.
Officers were called later that day to 36th Street and Falls Road in Hampden, where the suspect had been spotted, and arrested Brown, who matched the suspect's description, police said.
Brown faces robbery, theft and assault charges and is being held at Central Booking.
