Washington Monument in Baltimore restored
Nearly $6 million in renovations have prepared the 200-year-old monument for a bicentennial celebration. Thousands are expected for the Fourth of July event featuring a naturalization ceremony, crafts, food, music, and a chance to climb to the top of the monument.

The $2 million project to rebuild the Domino Sugars sign that has been part of the backdrop of Baltimore's Inner Harbor since 1951 nears completion. The official lighting is scheduled for July 4th.
