The state Department of Transportation said on Tuesday morning that overnight debris on MD 372 in Arbutus closed the roadway at Maiden Choice Lane since 12:35 a.m.
The State Highway Administration said the shut down is due to utility work and that the road will remain closed through rush hour.
A two-vehicle collision in Arnold on US 50 West past the MD 2 (Governor Ritchie Highway) exit has closed two of three westbound traffic lanes and the westbound left shoulder at 8:28 a.m., DOT said.
The Maryland Transportation Authority reported at 8:38 a.m. that fog warnings are in effect on the Interstate 95 Tydings Bridge. About an hour earlier, MdTA reported wind warnings on the bridge.
The Maryland Transit Administration reported at 9:10 a.m. that buses and trains are running on schedule.
