Point Lookout Confederate Cemetery

The Confederate Soldier Memorial was created by Point Lookout Prisoners-of-War Descendants Organization, which sought to fly the flag year-round on the Confederate cemetery grounds nearby. The National Cemetery Administration, which oversees the cemetery, would not allow it.
