Dinosaur bone found in Laurel

Steve Jabo, fossil preparator, Smithsonian Institution, holds what is believed to be a dinosaur bone he excavated in Dinosaur Park. The bone was found by Dave Hacker, lead volunteer at the park, on September 10, 2011, after the rains from Tropical Storm Lee revealed it.
