Baltimore Police officially turned over their findings in the death of Freddie Gray Thursday to city prosecutors.

Police Commissioner Anthony W. Batts announced Thursday evening that the citywide curfew that went into  effect Tuesday, would remain through the weekend. As agreeable springtime weather draws rowhouse residents to their front steps, police said they will be asked to go inside.

The block of East 26th Street in Charles Village that collapsed a year ago after heavy rains --- sending  cars, streetlights and the sidewalk tumbling onto CSX's Baltimore Belt Line railroad tracks  --- remains under construction, though city officials said they have nearly finished the repairs.

Alexander "Sash" Nemphos, 17, of Monkton, who was accused last year of planning an attack on the George Washington Carver Center for the Arts in Towson, will be tried as a juvenile.

Gun violence continues to surge on Baltimore's west side on Thursday, with at least five people reported shot in three separate incidents.
