An Upper Marlboro woman took home over $420,000 from a slots machine at the Maryland Live! Casino in Hanover, the biggest jackpot in the casino's four-year history.
According to spokeswoman Ashley Durkin-Rixey, a woman identified only as "Rosalyn F." won a $423,340.37 jackpot off of a $3 bet on one of the casino's "MegaHits" slot machines after 20 minutes of play.
Last year, a Jessup woman won $97,797.57 on the casino's "Giant Jackpot" slot machine, which the casino bills as "a mystery progressive jackpot that's guaranteed to hit between $50,000 and $100,000."
The casino's largest potential jackpot comes from its "Double Gold" slot machine, which has a potential payout of $1 million if a bettor places a max wager of $500.
