Awards ceremony The 19th annual Fannie Lou Hamer Awards Reception will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in St. John's College's Francis Scott Key Auditorium, 60 College Ave., Annapolis. The event, sponsored by the Martin Luther King Jr. Committee of Annapolis, recognizes six women who have contributed to the advancement of civil and human rights. Honorees are Rhonda L. Digital art The Digital Photography Club of Annapolis presents an art show titled "Take Your Best Shot," with a free reception from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Annapolis Maritime Museum, 723 2nd St. The show features more than 45 photographs submitted by members of the Digital Photography Club of Annapolis and is on display and for sale through Nov. 30.
