Three robberies reported in Anne Arundel Co.

Three robberies were recently reported to Anne Arundel County police, including two incidents at gas stations.

On Sunday, two male victims argued with another man inside a Double T Diner in the unit block of Defense Street in Annapolis, according to police. When the victims left the restaurant at around 4:45 a.m., they were attacked by two male suspects. A 29-year-old victim was injured, and the other victim had an undisclosed amount of cash stolen from him.

Police are looking for two men who are both approximately 5-feet-10-inches tall, weighing between 190 and 200 pounds. Both men were wearing gray, long-sleeved shirts and jeans.

Later that evening, at 6:54 p.m., a 42-year-old woman reported being robbed by a man at the American gas station in the 5500 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park, police said. The woman was walking toward her vehicle when the robber snatched cash out of her hand and ran off.

Police searched the area but were unable to find the suspect, who is described as a man in his late teens, 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-9-inches tall, weighing between 130 and 135 pounds.

Monday at 4:34 a.m., another woman told police she was robbed at a gas station, according to police. The 40-year-old victim was pumping gas into her vehicle at a BP station in the 7400 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie when a man approached her, asking to borrow her phone because his car had broken down.

The woman got into her car and told the man she had to go to work, according to police. He then opened her passenger side door and stole two handbags. When the victim tried to stop the man, he threatened her with a small pocket knife.

Police said the woman feared for her safety and allowed the robber, described as an approximately 6-foot-tall man with a thin build wearing black pants and a green jacket, to flee with her handbags and cell phone.
