Monday at 4:34 a.m., another woman told police she was robbed at a gas station, according to police. The 40-year-old victim was pumping gas into her vehicle at a BP station in the 7400 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie when a man approached her, asking to borrow her phone because his car had broken down.

The woman got into her car and told the man she had to go to work, according to police. He then opened her passenger side door and stole two handbags. When the victim tried to stop the man, he threatened her with a small pocket knife.

Police said the woman feared for her safety and allowed the robber, described as an approximately 6-foot-tall man with a thin build wearing black pants and a green jacket, to flee with her handbags and cell phone.
