Annapolis police report attack, robbery on Bens Drive

City of Annapolis Police say a woman was the victim of an armed robbery on Saturday in which two assailants pushed her to the ground and threatened her.

According to police, the incident occurred at about 11:50 p.m. on Saturday in the unit block if Bens Drive.

Police said the victim was walking when she was approached from behind by two males. The men threatened to shoot her and told her to get on the ground.  They pushed her to the ground and kicked and hit her. 

After checking her pockets they fled on foot, police said. The victim was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center for minor injuries.
