'Trunk or Treat'

Asbury Town Neck United Methodist Church hosts "Trunk or Treat" from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at 429 Asbury Drive in Severna Park. Festivities include food, games, a moon bounce, music and lots of candy. Children younger than 12 must be accompanied by an adult. (No scary costumes.) Information: 410-647-3461.

Fall dinner

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church will hold its annual Fall Dinner from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the church, 1110 St. Stephen's Church Road in Crownsville. The menu include roast turkey and side dishes. Takeout available. Cost is $15 in advance, $17 at the door; $6 for children 5-12; free for those younger than 5. Supper

Friendship United Methodist Church sponsors a Ham & Oyster Supper from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at 22 W. Friendship Road. The cost is $20, $5 for children 6-12, free those younger than 6. Proceeds benefit the church's cemetery fund. Information: 410-257-7133 or friendshipmethodistchurch.org.

Fall Festival

The Chesapeake Christian Center holds its annual Fall Festival beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at 206 Weston Woods in Pasadena. Children's activities include face-painting, games and free candy. There will be musical entertainment and food. Information: 410-255-3168.
