Baysox The Bowie Baysox will hold a "Un-Birthday Bash" as the team takes on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at 7:05 p.m. Event serves as a birthday celebration for everyone whose birthday falls outside of the baseball season and features a ticket offer that includes an ice cream buffet. Tickets for bash are $17, $13 for Baysox season ticket holders. Every ticket includes admission to the Bud Light Picnic Pavilion for a one-hour sundae bar, beginning in the top of the fourth inning. Those attending also receive a free photo mat and free ride on the carousel. Everyone in the stadium will sing "Happy Birthday" to the un-birthday bashers in the third inning. Benefit The second annual Be Great 5K Run & Fun Walk to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County will take place Aug. 20 at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis. The run will kick off at 9:15 a.m., and every preregistered runner and walker will receive a T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded for the fastest runner in several age categories. Music festival The inaugural Silopanna Music Festival will take place at Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds in Crownsville on Aug. 27.
