A Severna Park man was arrested after Anne Arundel County police detectives seized nearly $7,000 worth of suspected drugs from his home Tuesday, according to police.

Antoine Lee Wedington, 30, of the 900 block of Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. faces charges of possession with intent to distribute narcotics, according to police.

After an investigation of drug activity at Wedington's address, the tactical narcotics team executed a warrant at 6:45 p.m., police said.

Detectives found about 55.7 grams of suspected cocaine with a street value of $5,570; about 7.4 grams of suspected crack cocaine with a street value of $740 and about 21 grams of suspected marijuana with a street value of $420 as well as drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Wedington was released on his own recognizance Wednesday, according to court records.
