The Anne Arundel Community College fall job fair will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, in the David S. Jenkins Gymnasium, 101 College Parkway, Arnold. Through 2014, three Anne Arundel Community College nursing students will receive $3,000 scholarships through a program set up by Johns Hopkins HealthCare. The scholarships will benefit county residents enrolled in the college's registered nursing associate of science degree program who demonstrate financial need as established by the AACC financial aid office. Solar panel installation class
The Baltimore Building Congress and Exchange Foundation has donated $4,500 to Anne Arundel Community College Foundation Inc. to fund scholarships for those enrolled in the college's new solar panel installation class. Course is offered through Dec. 14. Information: 410-777-2056.
