Ecology by canoe From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 22, participants can discover the abundance of wildlife in the Patuxent River wetlands by paddling along some of the smaller branches of the river to look for beavers, birds and flowering wetland plants at Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary.
