Vacation Bible schools

•The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 7606 Quarterfield Road, Glen Burnie, will hold its summer Bible school from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, July 26 through Friday, July 30. Summer Sunday school

An eight-week session of summer Sunday school is under way at Galilee Lutheran Church, 4652 Mountain Road in Pasadena. The free, hourlong classes for children, ages 3 through sixth grade, take place at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Bible class

A monthly Bible class using clips from movies for a discussion, "The Jesus I Never Knew," will be held at noon the first Wednesday of the month for the next six months at Galilee Lutheran Church, 4652 Mountain Road in Pasadena. The class will look at excerpts from movies, including "Gospel Road," "King of Kings" and "The Gospel According to Matthew."
