Bingo Team Tommy Inc. sponsors a basket and bag bingo at the Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Department, 4498 Mountain Road, Pasadena. Crab feast The Rotary Club of Annapolis will hold its annual crab feast from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 6 at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis. Event is all you can eat and drink, including vegetable crab soup, corn on the cob, beef barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs, draft beer, sodas and water. There will also be a bake sale and cake raffle. Navy Boot Camp The Armel-Leftwich Visitor Center of the U.S. Naval Academy holds its second "Navy Way" boot camp of the summer on Aug. 7. Basic Boot Camp is a morning program and Advanced Boot Camp is an afternoon program. Basic Boot Camp is for recruits ages 6-12 and runs from 10 a.m. to noon. Recruits are issued a sailor's cap, learn Navy terms, march, chant, follow orders and eat in a simulated mess hall. Cost is $35 and includes a "Dixie cup" cap, camp, lunch (two slices of pizza and a soda), and a certificate of participation at graduation. Advanced Boot Camp is for graduates of Basic Boot Camp who are ages 9-12, and runs from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Participants take seamanship training (tying knots), learn how to use semaphore flags and march in precision drill. Cost is $35 (with cap), or $40 (if purchasing new cap), and includes all training materials.
