Arundel man charged with stabbing brother multiple times

Anne Arundel County police arrested and charged a Millersville man in the non-fatal stabbing of his brother Monday.

Police said Jermaine Carter, 23, of the 200 block Nathan Way was arguing with his brother at about 10:38 p.m. Monday, when he grabbed a knife and stabbed the 29-year-old multiple times.

Carter was still at the residence when officers from Eastern District responded and he was arrested without incident, police said. His brother was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Carter was charged with first- and second-degree attempted murder, first- and second-degree assault, and related charges.
