Arts and crafts festival More than 200 vendors will offer paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, leather goods and more at the Annapolis Arts & Crafts Festival at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. There will also be wine and food catered by Bo Brooks and live acoustic, salsa, jazz, calypso, samba and reggae music. Children's activities will be provided by the Chesapeake Children's Museum. Opening of rain gardens The Shady Side Rural Heritage Society holds the grand opening of its bio-retention project from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Captain Salem Avery Museum, 1418 E.W. Shady Side Road. Meeting The Enlisted Spouses Club of Fort Meade holds a meeting at 7 p.m. at Building T-4, near the pet care center. Sachs Memorial Summer Jazz Series The Brooks Tegler Band will perform a tribute to legendary drummer Gene Krupa at 6 p.m. June 23 on the front lawn at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts. Tegler will play drums, with Scott Silbert and Don Lerman on saxophone, Jon Mathis on trumpet, Craig Gildner on piano and Eric Harper on bass. Beer, wine, sandwich platters and desserts will be sold. Crab feast The Rotary Club of Annapolis will hold its annual crab feast from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 6 at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis. Event is all you can eat and drink, including vegetable crab soup, corn on the cob, beef barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs, draft beer, sodas and water. There will also be a bake sale and cake raffle.
