AACC field, track closed for summer: Anne Arundel Community College has closed Siegert Field and the running track for the summer for renovations. Both will open in the fall in time for classes. AACC golf tournament

The fourth annual Anne Arundel Community College Foundation Golf Tournament will be held June 21 at Crofton Country Club. Proceeds will benefit student scholarships and special academic programs. The tournament, sponsored by Acme Bar & Grill, features an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, putting contest, prizes and raffles.

Gold and silver sponsors of the event are needed, as well as sponsors for the beverage cart, awards banquet, breakfast, lunch and more.

Registration fees are $175 for a single golfer and $650 for a foursome.

Learn to row

The Annapolis Rowing Club is accepting registration for classes. The club offers courses in sweep rowing in eight-person shells with coxswains. Those interested can choose from among six sessions, each consisting of four two-hour lessons from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays on two consecutive weekends. Classes are geared to those with no rowing experience and are limited to 16 people. Participants must be 14 or older. Cost is $190. Sessions continue on weekends through July 17-18. Law enforcement

The Annapolis Police Department Law Enforcement Explorer Post 199 is accepting applications. Law Enforcement Exploring is a work-site-based program for young men and women who have completed the eighth grade and are between 14 and 20 years old. The program helps youth with information on a variety of programs that offer hands-on career activities.

Meetings are 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at police headquarters, 199 Taylor Ave. in Annapolis. Information: 410-268-9000 or at the office.

Doll collection

More than 100 handmade dolls from the Vilma Stockton collection are on display and for sale at the Captain Salem Avery House Museum, 1418 W. Shady Side Road. Hours are 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. Information: 410-867-4486.

Reunion

Fingerprinting service

The Annapolis Police Department offers fingerprinting service on the following days and times at 199 Taylor Ave.:

•5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays

•10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays

The fee is $5 per fingerprint card, and the person being printed must supply the cards. Check or money order only. Information: 410-268-9000.

Historic house tours

The Anne Arundel County Historical Society has opened the historic Benson-Hammond House and North Browse and Buy Shoppe at Aviation Boulevard and Andover Road in Linthicum for the season. Tours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays. Group tours are by appointment. The Kuethe Library for Historical and Genealogical Research, 5 Crain Highway S.E., operated jointly with the Anne Arundel Genealogical Society, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays year-round. Dance classes

•"Ballet 40/60," adult dance classes designed for those older than 40 who have little or no experience in ballet or those with previous experience but have not danced in some time, will held at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, 801 Chase St., Annapolis. In addition, "Ballet 40/60: Beyond the Basics," for those who have had considerable training in their youth or young adult years, will be held 7:30 p.m. to 8:40 p.m. Tuesdays, June 22-Aug. 3, and 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Wednesdays, June 23-Aug. 4.
