Man charged in stabbings, one death in Pasadena

Anne Arundel County police arrested and charged Sunday a 22-year-old man with first-and second-degree murder in the stabbing death of a woman in a Pasadena parking lot Saturday.

Police charged Francis Eugene Adams, of Severna Park, in the death of Debra Lynn Gill, 52, who died Saturday at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after suffering several stab wounds.

Gill and a 25-year-old man were attacked in parking lot on Corkberry Lane in what police say appeared to be a robbery. The man survived the stabbing attack, but was robbed, police said. Adams was also charged with robbery. Police did not release the other victim's name.

An initial investigation indicates that a verbal altercation took place between Adams and the victims before the attack, police said. Police said they are also looking for a second suspect. Adams is being held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
