Bible classes

Asix-session class for those interested in learning the basics of the Christian faith begins March 21 at Galilee Lutheran Church, 4652 Mountain Road, Pasadena. Topics in the 60-minute sessions will cover the Ten Commandments, the Apostles' Creed, Lord's Prayer, baptism, Communion, faith, the Bible and the church.

Breakfast

The "Jenkins Men in Christ" of Jenkins Memorial Church, 133 Riviera Drive in Riviera Beach, will hold a Community Fellowship Breakfast from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Breakfast will be eat-in or drive-through. Cost is $2.99 and $5.99. For more information, call 410-437- 2846.

Irish dinner

Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 7606 Quarterfield Road in Glen Burnie, will host a dinner fundraiser Saturday at the church. Doors open at 5 p.m. The menu includes corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, salad, rolls, drinks and dessert. Tickets are $10, $5 for children 6-12, and free for children 5 and younger. There will also be basket raffles. Proceeds benefit the Thrivent Builds/Habitat for Humanity in Anne Arundel County.
