Judy Appel and Mary Huntley, co-authors of "Amazing Attributes of Aging: Silly and Sacred Stories of Blue Garter Friends," will discuss the creative process, aging and the women's lives they chronicled for their book, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Florestano Building, Room 101 at Anne Arundel Community College, 101 College Parkway in Arnold. The book tells of 36 women who grew up in a small community in Minnesota and created a lifelong bond through the symbolism of a blue garter. After the discussion, the duo will sign copies of their book.
