St. John's College is holding higher-education seminars to explore timeless questions through readings and discussions, from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday in McDowell Hall on the Annapolis campus. The seminars are sponsored by the Friends of St. John's College and will explore works by William Shakespeare, W.E.B. Du Bois and Ryunosuke Akutagawa, among others. Coffee and doughnuts are served before the seminars.
