Anne Arundel County's annual high school rock band contest will be from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Jan. 16 at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, 801 Chase St., Annapolis. Bands from local high schools will compete. Proceeds benefit school music programs.
